Inquiry into STEM and science concepts should continue to be part of your weekly routine. This will be be a more independent activity, and you should take this time to learn about something you're interested in. Learning might look like doing experiments, watching videos, reading about a topic, or other alternative learning methods. You can write something about what you learned, or make a video, slideshow, poster, or any other kind of project to show me what you've been learning about. If you try any of the things I suggest during the week, please send me a message and/or pictures/videos of what you did to my email at [email protected].
Week 11: Coding
Let's have some fun this week. Take a look at the videos about using coding languages. Take a look at the binary and semaphore alphabets, then send a message to a family member or friend using one or both of these coding languages. Let them use the code sheet to decipher your message. Tell me how it goes! You can also play around with Hour of Codewhich has lots of fun games and challenges to try that use coding language for all levels.
